BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic attended in Chechava, the settlement in Teslic municipality on the road to Doboj, the opening of the production plant of the Factory of textile confection "Tena" from Teslic and "Jumka" from Vranje, in which are employed 21 female workers. During the visit to the newly opened textile plant the president Plavsic praised the quality of produced protection wear and other sawed samples and expressed the contentment because in this until now neglected place was realised such a business undertaking, first of all because of creating jobs for new workers.

AMSTERDAM - The vice-president of the Government and minister for issues of war veterans and war and work victims of RS Tihomir GLigoric stated that with the representatives of Dutch authorities in Amsterdam he talked about the economic reconstruction, social problems and return of refugees into RS, and that he made a contact with Serbs detained in Hague. According to him, the Dutch demanded from the governmental delegation to depict for them the political situation in RS and the situation immediately before elections, stressing that the economic reconstruction of the country could be accelerated by the public works, because in that way in short term the new jobs were created.

SARAJEVO - The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers of B&H Boro Bosic informed the president of Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha that because of conflicts and dispersion of the former leadership of RS, and consequences which came out of it have decided to step out of party membership. In the letter sent to Buha Bosic stated that there are two reasons which had lead to this conflicts - not real policy in the great extent subordinated to the interests of individuals and demand for blind obedience, which he, as he stresses, was not ready and did not want to respect.

BANJA LUKA - SDS and Democratic Party for Banja Luka and Krajina /DSBK/ will nominate joint candidates for House of Representatives of the Parliamentary assembly of B&H under the title "The list of SDS" - stated in Banja Luka the vice-president of SDS Dragan Cavic and president of DSBK Nikola Spiric. At the joint press conference Cavic reminded the journalists on the agreement from June 12 in Bijeljina signed by SDS and Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ about the joint lists for election of members of Presidency of B&H and president and vice-president of RS with title "Coalition of SDS and SRS".

RUDO - The icon of the Most Holy Mother Theotokos Threehanded of Hilandar was solemnly brought into the church of St. Apostles Peter and Pavle (Paul) in Rudo on June 12 at 18,00 h. The icon was brought into the church by the girls dressed in the folk garments, and after that His High Holiness metropolitan dabrobosanski Nikolaj have served the holy service.

VIENNA - The Defence minister of Austria Werner Fasslabend characterised in Vienna the decision of NATO to make plans of possible military action in Serbia as "correct step which correspond to the current situation ". Fasslabend has stressed that international community in Kosovo will not, as in case of B&H, wait three years the mandate of UN for eventual military action.

SIPOVO - His Holy Highness Serbian patriarch Mr. Pavle, president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic and minister of religions of RS Jovo Turanjanin have arrived to Sipovo on the occasion of Janjski sabor /gathering/, which will be held tomorrow at the monastery Glogovac. While addressing the people of Sipovo, patriarch Serbian wished that youngsters today live in better and more happy occasions than when Serbs had "to defend their freedom and homes, their graves and Orthodox faith". While talking about the misfortune which has happened to the Serbian people in Sipovo, whole RS and other areas, patriarch said that "the people must fight for the freedom, justice and truth".

TREBINJE - In Trebinje in the presence of the representatives of RS Government, Serbian Orthodox Church and Municipality was solemnly opened new building of Trebinje Custom Office. The Finance minister of RS Novak Kondic said that this object is the sign that Government, in accordance with its capacity, is equally developing all parts of RS, denying by that the rumours that some regions of Republic were favoured.

ZVORNIK - The basis of the development of RS must be private capital, and not credits and aid - assessed in Zvornik the president of Serbian intellectual forum /SIF/ Mladen Ivanic. Commenting the theme "Economic and political prospective of RS" at the last night's third thematic session of the Forum, Ivanic stressed that the on the economic plan situation in Republika Srpska is very difficult, because out of 180,000 persons who are counted as employed, some 50,000 are working in the state administration, and only 60,000 are workers in the production sector.

BIJELJINA - The international representative for B&H Carlos Westendorp has brought the decision on June 11 about establishing Independent Commission on Media /ICM/, and for the general director, according to the Rules of Procedure, was nominated Christer Thelin, announced OHR. Newly nominated general director will take over the duty on July 1 this year. Before this post, Christer was working as the deputy minister of Justice in Sweden. In the announcement forwarded for SRNA is stressed that ICM will establish the control regime in broadcasting radio and television and other media in B&H.

BANJA LUKA - In Banski dvor in Banja Luka was founded the association of refugees and displaced persons for stay in RS, for which president was elected Bosko Bajic from Kljuc. At the session were adopted the Rules of Procedure, Statute, Programme of work and Polling list, and elected the Executive and Supervising Boards and Statutory commission of the Association. The president of Initiative board of Association Rajko Blagojevic expressed the hope that it will overgrow into unique political association which in accordance with Dayton Agreement will work on stay and survival of refugees and displaced persons in RS.

BERKOVICI - For 12 days of work of only registering centre in municipality Berkovici was registered only seven new persons who on last years elections were not on voting lists - stated for SRNA the president of the Local electoral commission Zeljana Mihic. Mihic stated that until now was enlisted also 21 persons which had errors in earlier data and added that this centre, while working four days as mobile, visited villages Scepan Krst, Dabrica, Hrgud, Poljice and Trusina.

ZVORNIK - In the registering centres Oraovac, Kozluk and Pilica in the region of municipality Zvornik more than 90% voters have taken over their voting cards for impending elections.

KRALJEVO - The turnout of voters for registration for September's elections in B&H in the region of Kraljevo is still very bad, so that in one of 35 registering centres out of planned 2,000 refugees was registered only 30%. The chief of the Registering centre 22 Milan Majstorovic said for SRNA that all full age citizens from RS and Federation B&H who live in the territory of FR Yugoslavia are obliged to be registered, because, on the contrary, their name will not be on the final electoral list.

KRALJEVO - Although the registering of refugees who are enfranchised to vote for September's elections in RS and FB&H for the region of FR Yugoslavia have been started before 13 days in the team for registering No. 22 Kraljevo they cannot say that they have good results. In the municipalities Raska, Vrnjacka Banja, Novi Pazar and Tutin the registration was finished, and supervisor of OSCE the British Jonattan Curt did not want to discover the number of registered persons, but the members of the team have confirmed that the turnout was very small, less that expected.

MOSTAR - MUP of county Posavina announced to the reporters that they know the identity of the assailant against two wounded policemen who were in the regular police patrol near the place Lepnica, on the road Orasje - Tuzla, but because of investigation his name will not be discovered yet - reports the Croatian radio Herceg Bosna. It was said that one of the assailants is from the region of Vukovar and that he has ID card issued by the former MUP of Republic Serbian Krajina, and that another assailant comes from the region of FR Yugoslavia.

MOSTAR - Two civilians have attacked by the fire arms regular police patrol of MUP of county Posavska on the road Orasje Tuzla, near Lepnica - two policemen were hardly wounded, one assailant was killed and another escaped - reports the Croatian radio Herceg Bosna.

ZEPCE - More that 24 hours is blocked the main road Zenica -Doboj and Zepce -Zavidovici by truckers, because of discontentment because they cannot get the registering plates, because of what they are from the June 1 without job, and the columns of vehicles are long eight kilometres in some cases - reports the Croatian radio Herceg Bosna. The truckers are warning at the cases of discrimination in delivering plates in Moslem part of municipality Zepce in police station Begov Han, while the police administration in Zepce, as the legal institution, has no right to get registering plates.

BUENOS AIRES - Argentina will in next days, most probably on June 16 at the airport Ezeiza, deliver to the Croatian authorities the former commander of the extermination camp Jasenovac Dinko Sakic, was announced by the president of Argentina state Institute for anti-discrimination Victor Ramos, report the agencies. The Croatian Ministry of justice announced the day before yesterday that there is a direct flight from Buenos Aires to Zagreb.
