BANJA LUKA - In the presence of families, relatives and friends, in the factory of tool machines "Jelsingrad" in Banja Luka was uncovered the monumental board to the 31 workers of this factory, who died defending their fatherland. After the requiem and commemoration, to the assembled people addressed the president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic, stressing that they are aligned between the numerous patriots who gave their lives for freedom of RS. "To us who lead this country they and their families must be obligation. To the children of died soldiers RS must be a hope"- stressed Ms. Plavsic.

TREBINJE - In the organisation of the Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic Party /OO SDS/ Trebinje, from this and other cities from Hercegovina by busses will departure the members of this great meeting "For Republika Srpska", which will tomorrow be held in Banja Luka. As stressed in the invitation sent to the members, symphatizers and citizens, "that will not only be the central promotional rally of SDS, but also the gathering for preserving whole and inadvisable RS". As announced, at the rally in Banja Luka will talk the highest representatives of RS, members of Senate of RS, and numerous outstanding citizens, and their coming in the framework of cultural-amusing programme confirmed the famous singers, painters and other artists from Serbian states.

BANJA LUKA - At the region of Banja Luka municipality for the local elections were registered 132,409 voters - announced the president of Local electoral commission Vukasin Boskovic. Out of that number 114,000 were registered in person, and about 15,000 was registered in FR Yugoslavia, Croatia and other European states - precisely stated Boskovic. He added that the ballots will come to Banja Luka one day before elections, and that they will be given to the presidents of the voting Boards on September 13 at 6,00 o'clock A.M. immediately before opening the polling stations.

VISEGRAD - Around 8,000 voters from Federation B&H will vote in Visegrad, and at the first check of diskettes forwarded to the Local electoral commission /LEC/ was determined the series of irregularities - the names of some Moslem voters were repeated several times. The president of LEC Milanka Tamaskovic stated that it is not the original list. The commission informed about this Jim Bell, the representative of OSCE for this region, requesting the correction in the final voting list.

DOBOJ - The parliamentary and presidential elections could denote the end of the current political crisis in RS, caused by the different views for realising the Serbian interests - stated Mladen Djuric Bajke, independent candidate from the municipality Petrovo. " Without such individuals we shall certainly faster achieve overall benefits and by joint powers go forward, more happily and surely, in creating RS with all its state attributes" - said Djuric, and gave message to the voters to vote in accordance with their own consciousness.

PARIS - The Parisian monthly "Balkan info" in the last issue asks "Did we returned to the time of Gestapo", sharply condemning U.S. politics in the world and Balkans and acting of the Hague Tribunal. It brings the caricature of Paul Pot, behind him being the scenery of human craniums, along with text: "Paul Pot had killed 2,000,000 persons. Will he one day come to trial before the International court for war crimes?" Pot responds: "No risk, because I am not Serbian". The news concludes that "the clauses of the Dayton Agreement are the most difficult obligations ever imposed to one people from the side of the occupational force in the modern times", and that "they could be compared only with those from the colonial times".

BELGRADE - The representatives of the Democratic Party of Serbia /DSS/ expressed the worry because of new threats by sanctions and sending the combat aeroplanes for monitoring elections in RS, which is decided on the meeting of the NATO Council in Brussels. "It is strange that after the admittance of the U.S. officials that the sanctions enabled people gathered around the president of FR Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic to enrich themselves, they again mention methods which would produce the same effects", is cited in the announcement. "Since officially do not recognise FRY, but is dealing with Milosevic, the international community would solve all disputes with him, and not to do it on the detriment of whole Serbian people", thinks DSS.

BELGRADE - His Holiness the Serbian Metropolitan Mr.Pavle received in Belgrade the president of the Assembly of Montenegro Svetozar Marovic and president of the Government and candidate of Democratic Party of Socialists /DPS/ for president of Republics Milo Djukanovic. The news "Pobeda" is stressing that yesterday's visit was the first official visit of the state and political representatives of Montenegro since the end of the Second World War to the Serbian Metropolitan. During talks the opinions were exchanged about the relations between Church and the state and its improvement in the future for the benefit of Church and people.

PODGORICA - The major danger for equality of Montenegro /Crna Gora/ and FR Yugoslavia is newly elected president of FR Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic - stated in Barutana near Podgorica Milo DJukanovic, the presidential candidate of the part of Democratic Party of Socialists /DPS/ In his first pre-electoral appearance he stressed that the key issues for disputes with the president of Montenegro Momir Bulatovic was the different concepts of FR Yugoslavia and the place of Montenegro in it.

BANJA LUKA - In Banja Luka in the presence of the great number of guests and exhibitors is finished the International agricultural fair of mechanisation, reproduction materials and protective means "Agrorepro 97". Summerizing the results of the Fair, the representative o the Novi Sad's agricultural institute in RS Miroslav Danojevic stressed that his firm is satisfied by the interest of the RS agricultural representatives for seed material produced by this reputable producer.

NOVI SAD - In the framework of the programme "The portrait of the poet", at the 26th Branko's dance, the greatest authors manifestation in Yugoslavia, in the City library of Novi Sad was presented the poetry of the Banjaluka's poet Ranko Risojevic. About Risojevic's poetry, with the particular review on the book "Mesiah", talked the poet and literary critic Zlatko Krasni.

LOZNICA - In Loznica tomorrow will start the seven days festivity in the framework of Vuk's gathering. The director of the Cultural-educational centre "Vuk Karadzic" in Loznica and the member of th Board of the Vuk's gathering Milinko Zugic stated that particularly will be marked the historical 1847 year, in which had won the Vuk's linguistic reforms, which has the manysided and far reaching significance for the Serbian culture.
