SARAJEVO - The president in the Presidency of the Dayton B&H, Momcilo Krajisnik, met in Pale with the US Ambassador to Sarajevo, Robert Becroft. During a one-hour long talks they pointed at the need for a Council of ministers of the B&H to be set up. "President Krajisnik said that it is in the Serbian interest for having the Council of ministers start working as soon as possible, mentioning that the mandate of the persons still representing the B&H has run out long time ago", says a communique issued by the president's spokeswoman, Mirjana Kusmuk.

SARAJEVO - An equal participation in the purchase of gas, technical possibilities for the gas supply for the citizens' needs, industrial consumption in Republika Srpska (RS) and the Federation of B&H, as well as the realisation of the gas transit, were on the agenda of a meeting between the delegations from Republika Srpska and the Federation of B&H, stated RS vicepremier, Milomir Draganic. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the RS government, the Serb "Sarajevogas" enterprise, the Muslim "Energoinvest" and "Energopetrol" enterprises, the NIS-GAS firm from Novi Sad, as well as the World Bank and ODA.

BANJALUKA - The Celinac branch of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), sent a letter of support to RS president Biljana Plavsic, for her efforts in successfully carrying out the work on organising the General Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS).

BANJALUKA - Representatives of the international organisations have so far registered not even a single one evidence against Milorad Marceta, who has been detained in a prison in Bihac since the 21st of October by the Muslim authorities, because of alleged "war crimes". IPTF Southwest Sector spokesman Aloun Roberts, stated in Banjaluka that "the key witness, who showed up in Bihac a few days ago, was not able even to identify the arrested Marceta".

DOBOJ - The Muslim authorities in Maglaj started a legal proceeding against three Serbs arrested in the zone of separation on Mt. Ozren, on the 25th of October. "The Muslim authorities inculpated Nikola Panic, Milenko Devic and Radan Dimitric of illegally cutting the woods on Mt. Ozren", stated an attorney Dragan Lazic who is going to defend the accused before the Main Court in Maglaj.

SARAJEVO - The Croats are preventing the return of the Muslims to Odzak, a city given to the Federation of B&H by the Dayton agreement, maintains the Muslim Oslobodjenje paper, stressing that the Croats have reserved the city for themselves, placing explosives in and setting fire to the Muslim houses.

SARAJEVO - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) asks for the Neretvanski Canton, one of the ten Cantons in the Federation of B&H where a Constitution has yet to be adopted, to be defined as "a Canton with the Croatian majority", as well as for the possibility for the Canton to have ties with the other Croatian Cantons.
