''There is a concrete infrastructure in Trabzon especially in shoe and furniture production. There is an important market for these two sectors in the CIS market. [10] PRIME MINISTER YILMAZ: ''IF CAKICI HAS CONNECTIONS IN THE MOTHERLAND PARTY (ANAP), THEY WILL NOT BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY FROM THE MEMBERS OF OTHER PARTIES'' - YILMAZ: ''IF OCALAN, THE CHIEF OF PKK IS TAKING A STEP IN ORDER TO SURRENDER, UNDERSTANDING THAT FIGHTING WITH THE TURKISH STATE IS HELPLESS, I REGARD HIS STATEMENTS AS POSITIVE''

Everybody should be at ease because no crime will be concealed and every guilty person will be prosecuted.''

When a journalist asked, ''Do you think that the relation with the underground world is an incident that developed only by the initiative taken by several bureaucrats or is it broader than that,'' Yılmaz said that ''I am also searching for the answer of that question. Several people claim that the state gave tasks to them concerning this issue. I am making inquiries about these people. My sincere belief is the fact that the Turkish state can never enter into illegal activities and it does not cooperate with outlaws. If some people misuse their authority, they will also be added to the list of criminals.''

Prime Minister Yılmaz stressed that Turkey faces with three basic threats coming from separatism, fundamentalism and underground world. ''We are determined to struggle with these three threats at the same time,'' he added.

Responding to questions about the statements of Abdullah Ocalan, the chief of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, Prime Minister Yılmaz said that ''if Ocalan is taking a step in order to surrender by understanding that fighting with the Turkish state is helpless, I regard his statements as positive and we expect him to continue. But if he is playing a game in order to have a place in the political platform in Europe, this is in vain and we will not take him as a counterpart.''
