FACULTY POSITION OPENING IN OPERATIONS RESEARCH

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece is announcing the opening of a tenure-track position at the Associate or Assistant Professor level in the area of Operations Research.

The DEADLINE for the submission of candidacies is FEBRUARY 13, 2002.

The position offers the opportunity to teach and conduct research in a department with highly qualified faculty (currently 15 appointed members plus 3 recently elected members) and students (undergraduate and postgraduate) in a growing research university setting. The Department brings together engineers around a curriculum that fuses mechanical, manufacturing, chemical and industrial engineering.

Greek language and E.U. nationality are necessary for the position.
