the 16th Annual Hellenic Folk Music Festival

Sunday, May 16th 1999, 4 pm Bohemian Hall, 29-19 24th Ave, Astoria

- The Greek American Folklore Society (GAFS) will present dances from Megara and Pontus in traditional costumes. - Joe Kalyonides Graziosi will be conducting a workshop of Greek Folk dances. - A dance party for everyone will follow.

Musicians: Nikos Sofos's band, Christos Tiktapanides (Pontic lyra), Beth Cohen (violin, Thracian and Macedonian lyra), Jim Tashie (gaida, laouto, percussion), John Themelis (toumbeleki).
