"The US government has expressed its interest, since there have been four US citizens who have fallen victim to these attacks, and the US Embassy's compound in Athens, being the property of the United States, was subject to a rocket attack in 1984. It falls within the framework of a policy followed by the US government. Greece, as well, has in the past followed a similar policy," Mr. Reppas said. Terrorist action against Americans in Greece so far has resulted in the deaths of four US civilians, Richard Welch, George Tsantes William Nordeen and Ronald Stuart, while another 28 have been injured.
