One day after the plane crash in India killing 158 people, bereaved relatives of victims are trying to identify their relatives while world leaders pay tribute to victims. New evidence indicate possible mistake of the pilot, although he had more than 10.000 hours of flying experienced, that led to the plane's crash.

Inquiry into Deadly Crash

Pilots say that in many cases foreign national captains do not pay the necessary attention and crash in the air with their Indian colleagues putting at risk the lives of hundreds of passengers.

New evidence, however, indicate that weather conditions could not have caused the crash.

Experienced pilots say the position of Mangalore's runways poses challenges for pilots. Mangalore's airport lies on top of a hill with steep drops at the end of each of its two runways.

Experts say that the accident could have been possibly caused by a mistake of the pilot, although the Serbian captain had more than 10.000 of flying hours and had made 26 landings at the specific airport.

Air India jet, arriving from Dubai, overshot Mangalore airport's hilltop runway and crashed down during landing. The aircraft, bringing migrant workers home from Dubai, was carrying a crew of six and 160 passengers including 19 children, four of them under two years old.
