Of them, 110 have been fully cured. Infections are estimated to surge in autumn, with experts forecasting that 33% of the population will probably go down with the swine flu. The rising number of H1N1 infections has been blamed on the fact we are in the middle of the tourism period, as well as on local spread. In any case, symptoms are mild.Of the twenty new cases: ⢠11 came from nations that have confirmed H1N1 cases,⢠four came in touch with already infected people, and ⢠five, whose contacts are under investigation. The US President and his family will stay in Ghana for a whole day, and during his stay he is expected to highlight the need for reforms in the continent. It was Ghana's democratic track record that urged Obama to choose to visit the country and introduce it as a role model of the whole of Africa, which is frequently hit by coups and vote-rigging. Warmly Welcomed During his stay, Barack Obama will hold talks with Ghana President John Atta Mills and address the country's parliament. He is also expected to visit a former slave fort. The Obamas were given a colourful welcome featuring drummers and traditional dancers. On the eve of his arrival, crowds were celebrating the visit of the US President, a visit to the land of his ancestors that has raised expectations among the African people.
