Transport Minister Evripidis Stylianidis pointed out that the 13,5 million card cell-phone owners will have to submit their personal data to mobile companies until July 2010. Important changes in the cell-phone market are expected to follow from its implementation in Greece. Minister of transport is going to present the new bill next Tuesday.The lifting of anonymity is already being implemented in other 11 European countries. The relative EU directive expires on 15 March. The 13.5 million card cell-phone owners will have to submit their personal data only to mobile phone companies, even if they had purchased their sim cards from kiosks. The women in attendance, including ministers and prominent businesswomen, initially responded with boos but applauded when Qaddafi said he believed in equal rights for men and women, who should be free to marry and divorce at will. "In the Arab and Muslim world the'' women's rights ''situation is terrible'', a situation that ''could lead to a revolution'' said Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in the Music Park in Rome to an audience of Italian business women. ''Women are like furniture for them which you can change anytime'' said the colonel. He pointed out that in some Arab countries woman are not even allowed to drive. But many criticize Gaddafi, like Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for using women to assert his own authority and influence.
