[01] PASOK 5.5% Ahead
A new gallop conducted by Metron Analysis on behalf of television
channel Antenna indicates that PASOK IS 5.5% ahead of ND party. PASOK
gathers 39.7% and 147 seats. In response to the question which party is
to win in the forthcoming elections PASOK gathers 47% and ND 31%.
Kostas Karamanlis leads with 33.1% against 30.1% of George Papandreou
as the most appropriate politician for the post of Prime-minister.
According to the new gallop percentages are the following: ND 29.4%,
PASOK 34.9%, GCP 6.9%, SYRIZA 8.5%, LAOS 4.9% and ECOLOGISTS 2.5%.

Athens stock market closed at 1840.88 points on Thursday in positive
territory with gains 0.36% or 6.57 points. During transactions of the
260 shares, 88 went up, 116 went down while 56 remained unchanged.
