  • [01] Two Greeks injured in London terror attack are well, FM Kotzias says

The two Greeks that presented themselves at a London hospital after the terror attack in London are in good health and there are no other Greeks injured, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said on Thursday.

Kotzias made the statement during a joint press conference with visiting German Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel after their meeting at the foreign ministry on Thursday.

The Greek foreign minister also expressed Greece's support and solidarity with the British people and the British government.

[02] Attica Region head Rena Dourou meets Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Cretu

The head of the Attica Regional Authority Rena Dourou on Thursday had a meeting with European Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Cretu in Brussels, presenting the actions taken by the Attica Region to promote entrepreneurship and extroverted business practices.

"Our aim is to implement, through open procedures of public consultation, as many policies as possible that are related to new start-ups, smart specialisation and to sensitise and energise citizens in this direction," Dourou said after the meeting.

"For this reason we support new forms of enterpreneurship and innovation, in order to open up new growth prospects - not just in Attica but more broadly for our country's economy," she added.

[03] Administrative Reconstruction Min Gerovassili sees programme review concluded in April

The programme review will be soon concluded, Administrative Reconstruction Minister Olga Gerovassili said in an interview with SKAI TV on Thursday.

"We want the programme review to be concluded in April so that the economic climate stabilises. We are obliged to work hard and make mutual concessions," she underlined.

She said that the last seven years were difficult and the austerity has exhausted the Greek people and added that the government has managed, however, to make 2016 a year of stabilisation. "We are working hard to stabilise the climate," she stressed.
