The five-year visa will not count as time required for the acquisition of Greek citizenship and does not allow the holder to work in Greece, while it will have to be renewed every five years for the duration of the proprietorship of the property. Market sources opine that the incentive will substantially help to rekindle the real estate market, particularly with Russian investment capital.
