[01] Foreign Ministry condemns the murder of two Kosovo Serb children
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the murder of two Kosovo
Serb children and the wounding of a number of others, which took place on
the 13th August in Gorazdevac, Kosovo. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
conveys its deep condolences to the families of the victims. The murders
take place in a crucial period for Kosovo. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Cyprus, supporting fully the presence of UN Interim Administration in
Kosovo (UNMIK), as well as the new Special Representative of the Secretary
General Harri Holkeri in the area, expresses the belief that differences
can only be resolved through peaceful means and constructive dialogue. The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports the full and unhindered implementation
of UNSCR 1244.
