Mr Theophilou stressed that our aim is to inform the members of the European Parliament of the ongoing crimes against the people of Cyprus and its cultural heritage. "We have a right to voice our cause and our agony and they have a right to learn and to know what is happening in Cyprus, a European country, which is a candidate for accession to the European Union.

Our goal is to arouse their interest and to mobilize their support in our struggle to protect and preserve our cultural heritage and to restore and protect the human rights of the people of Cyprus," he said.
