President Anastasiades will be taking part in the celebrations of the EPP on the occasion of 25 years since the Treaty of Maastricht, an official press release says. [02] There are testimonies on missing persons which have not yet been assessed, Commissioner saysCNA - CYPRUS/Nicosia 19/10/2016 17:05Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Issues, Photis Photiou, has said that there are testimonies as regards the fate of the missing persons in Cyprus, which have not been assessed 42 years after the Turkish invasion of the island. Photiou presented on Wednesday, during a press conference, a project for the digitalisation of the archives of the Service for Missing Persons, comprising 2000 dossiers. He noted that dozens of testimonies and information for the sites where individuals went missing have been digitalised, adding that documents have been digitalised based on the categories used by the Service for Missing Persons, which are over 15.
