[01] Faith carries a message of hope, Maronite Archbishop of Cyprus says
The spiritual dimension of faith carries a message of hope, Maronite
Archbishop of Cyprus Youssef Soueif has said.
Soueif, who has represented the Catholic Church at a High Level Religious
Leaders Meeting in Brussels, said that tough economic measures in Cyprus
affect especially ordinary and simple people.
People, he added, who have been struggling all their life to work
seriously, in dignity and are now obliged to remain with empty hands,
without jobs or funds.
