[01] Cypriots will stand firm, House President says in his Easter message
House President Yiannakis Omirou conveyed his certainty that the people of
Cyprus will stand firm, despite the difficulties and problems the country
is facing. In his message on the occasion of Greek Orthodox Easter, on
May 5th, Omirou says it is imperative that everybody who is responsible
for the present economic situation and, especially, the banking sector,
to be brought to justice.
"We call on our people to maintain their confidence, their boundless
strength, their capabilities as well as their faith in the present and
the future of our country" he goes on.
