[01] Mourinho: We are the favourite, but football is football
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said that APOEL is a very balanced
team and he will not be underestimating it. Speaking during a press
conference at GSP Stadium on the eve of their UEFA Champions League first
leg quarter-final football match against APOEL, Mourinho said that APOEL
eliminated top-class teams. "We have studied them a lot,`` he added.
``We are the favourites, but football is football. I am sure that we are
not going to have teams certain for the last four from the first leg,``
he said. ``Of course, having the second leg at home makes things more
easy for us,`` the Portuguese added.
"My dream is to eliminate Real Madrid from the Champions League",
APOEL`s Serbian coach Ivan Jovanovic told a press conference earlier.
Jovanovic admitted this was a very difficult match and that they must
give a top performance against one of the world's best teams.
``I achieved almost everything in the last four years with APOEL, but
I still have a dream. To eliminate Real,`` said Jovanovic whose side
knocked out Olympique Lyon on penalties to reach the last eight.
