The team will fly from Larnaca to Trabzon, via Damascus, Syria on a chartered Syrian airlines flight. An official press release issued here said Cyprus' Permanent Representative to the UN Andreas Mavroyiannis and Botswana's Permanent Representative to the UN Alfred Dube have signed the letter on July 29. Skordis was speaking to the press after handing over a petition to the Embassies of China, France, the US and the Russian Federation in Nicosia, in which the Mayor and the Municipal Council of Famagusta call on its recipients to exert all efforts for the best possible solution the soonest for the sake of the whole of Cyprus and its people, Greek and Turkish Cypriots.
