CoR-Cyprus joint committee holds its first meeting tomorrow

Nicosia, Oct 13 (CNA) - The Joint Consultative Committee of the EU Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the Republic of Cyprus will hold its inaugural meeting tomorrow in Nicosia.

The meeting will begin with speeches from Cyprus Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides and CoR Vice Chairman Jean Louis Joseph.

Cyprus and Egypt reaffirm agreement on Economic Zone

Nicosia, Oct 13 (CNA) - The agreement for the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zone between Egypt and Cyprus, which will be signed in the near future, was reaffirmed during a meeting in Cairo between Cyprus Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Nicos Rolandis and Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Samir Samih Fahmi.
