    Archbishop Chrysostomos suffered fractures by falling

    Nicosia, Apr 28 (CNA) -- Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysostomos, 85, was yesterday injured after slipping and falling at the entrance of the Archbishopric. The falling caused skull and spine fractures and he was admitted to the Nicosia General Hospital.

    His health condition is in no danger, "stable and with no complications", according to a Hospital's press release.

    Earlier today, President Glafcos Clerides visited the Archbishop at the Hospital and later on he told the press that the Primate of the Church of Cyprus "is well."

    Nicosia football club APOEL wins their 17th championship

    Nicosia, Apr 28 (CNA) -- Nicosia football club APOEL have won their 17th championship of the Cyprus League after being held to a 1 1 draw against AEL in Limassol yesterday.
