HAMBURG - For the first time after World War II, German soldiers are back, as the occupation forces, in the area where they left bloody traces of genocide - writes Berlin's weekly newspaper "Unsere Zeit" commenting the departure of Bundesver armed forces for the Dayton B-H.

PARIS - After Afghanistan, Bosnia is the most important Islamic terrorist centre, warns the French paper "Parisian Libre", while commenting the latest Islam terrorist attacks in France. The paper writes that Bosnia is "a nest of Algerian fundamentalists who issue false passports for 'French citizens"'.

OSLO - Thorvald Stoltenberg, the former UN mediator for former Yugoslavia, accuses Washington of incapability to bring peace in the Dayton B-H earlier. While referring to his two and a half year work with EU mediator, Lord Owen, Stoltenberg writes that the negotiations, intended to halt the conflict, could have resulted in an end to war by 1993, had the USA took an active part in talks.

TRAVNIK - The Croatian City Council of Travnik, based in Nova Bila, accused Muslim authorities of continuing plunder and setting Croat real property on fire and repressions against the remaining Travnik Croats, report Croat local radio stations.

MOSTAR - Adversaries of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg- Bosnia, would like it to disappear in the shortest possible period of time. But, consistent to terms of the Washington and Dayton agreements, the process will see an equal level of commitments from both Croat and Muslim sides.

BEOGRAD - One of the greatest Serbian painters, Miodrag - Mica Popovic, died in Belgrade in the age of 73.
