HAMBURG - The German daily news "Neues Duetchland" assesses that the whole campaign of removing Radovan Karadzic from the public life of the Republika Srpska /RS/ has a goal the creating the impression that his presence at the political scene jeopar dises the peace process in the former B&H. Contrary to this hypothesis, the German paper claims that the real danger for peace on Balkans is hidden in the increasing gaps within Moslem Croatian federation and American arming of aggressive Moslems.

HAMBURG - The Hague Tribunal simple ascribes a guilty to Radovan Karadzic and general Ratko Mladic, and Richard Goldstone before beginning of any investigation, already "knew" that they, allegedly, "were architects of genocide in Bosnia" - cynically emphasised "June Welt". The Tribunal is, "by inquisitive suspen sion of the basic legal maxim, according to which the guilt isn't to be supposed but in every particular case must be confirmed, i.e., have marked the continuation of the war against Serbs by other means" assesses the paper.

BANJALUKA - The Zagreb's daily "Vecernji list" assesses that in Croatia appeared the discontentment with the results of the recent visits of the special envoy of U.S. president Richard Holbrooke to Belgrade, Zagreb and Sarajevo. According to paper, the Croatian public fears that the Serbs in RS, after the with drawal of Radovan Karadzic from the political scene, as the condition for [participating in the elections could request the same for Croatian president Franjo Tudjman and Moslem leader Alija Izetbegovic.

BELGRADE - The general secretary of the Association of Serbs from the former B&H in Serbia Pero Djurdjevic called all refugees in FRY to check the voting lists and their registrations in the provisional electoral lists so the necessary conditions for the September's elections be fulfilled. " If there be a great number of the persons with the voting right in evidence, the chance is greater that the Provisional Electoral Commission of OSCE will open the polls in FRY and in that way make possible the voting in absentia", stressed Djurdjevic for "Politika ekspres".

NOVI SAD - If Serbs disperse their votes to all presiden tial candidates, then, according to the claims of the leader of National Party RS Radovan Brdjanin, given in an interview for Novi Sad's "Dnevnik", it could easily happen that for the presi dent of Srpska come Moslem. "Because of that I appeal to all Serbs in Srpska not to divide themselves between this and that candidate, but, with the goal to protect the Serbian national interests, give their votes to one or at most two presidential candidates", highlighted Brdjanin.

TREBINJE - In the office for registration of voters in Ljubinje till today signed in 70% of adult population of this Hercegovinian municipality, reports SRNA from the municipal electoral commission. From 3.000 citizens of Ljubinje with the voting rights 2.000 had checked out are they in the electoral lists, while 520 of refugees who now live in the area of Lju binje, 350 of them are enlisted in these lists, and all showed the desire to vote in this municipality at the September's elec tions.

DOBOJ - The secretary of the municipal Electoral Commission in Doboj Milena Panic announced that in the provisional electoral lists were registered 85% of refugees and displaced persons who are accommodated in this municipality. In 11 offices in Doboj till now was registered 4.556 voters and all showed the desire to vote in the current place of living at the September's elections.

NOVI SAD - The Head of the transitional police forces in the region of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srem Petar Djukic stated that "Croatia can neither decide about its status nor give orders to it". In an interview for Novi Sad's "Dnevnik", Djukic explained that "Croatia is the signatory of the agreement and takes the measurements for the peaceful of this region".
