[01] CLEAR MAJORITY IS A PRECONDITION FOR GREATER LEGAL EFFECTSThe Serbian Deputy Premier and Chairman of the Federal Parliament Constitutional Committee Prof. Dr. Ratko Markovic, stated on Sunday in an interview for Radio Kragujevac, that the election results give a true reflection of the orientation of the voters, and that the ballot was clearly a democratic free and direct expression of the will of the people. The electoral system has been rightly chosen since it contributes to the determination of the political space. Dominating political groups are now clearly visible on the one hand and ephemeral ones without identity on the other. Thus preconditions are being secured for the stabilization of state bodies, such as the Federal Parliament - said Dr. Markovic adding that the highest possible legitimacy of the Parliament has been achieved as well as a highly tangible parliamentary majority that will be able to tackle the primary goal of this institution - i.e. the adoption of laws.
