    In Strasbourg at the Parliamentary Session of the Council of Europe a working document is to be analyzed, iniatiated by the vice-chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, Adrian Nastase, a document which stands against the arbitrary decision of the International Olympic Committee, which contestably withdrew the Olympic Gold Medal to the Romanian gymnast Andreea Raducanu.

    Prime Minister Mugur Isarescu is meeting with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Ivan Kostov at the Belene shooting ground in Bulgaria on the occasion of the bilateral exercise JOINT EXERCISE - BLUE DANUBE 2000.

    Romanian defense minister Sorin Frunzaverde has a meeting with Klaus Peter Klaiber, deputy secretary general for political affairs of NATO followed by press statements.

    The ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION announces start of enlisting for the seventh edition of the International GAUDEAMUS FAIR - LEARNING BOOK which will unfold for five days in the week 22 - 26 November in the central pavillion of ROMEXPO. Enlisting takes place everyday between 10:00 - 13:00 here, at the Broadcasting House of RADIO ROMANIA, by 13 October.
