NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - At the session of the Presidency of B&H in Serbian Sarajevo was reached the agreement on participation of representatives of Republika Srpska /RS/ and Federation B&H /FB&H/ at the Convention on ban for production and use field mines, which have to be held on December 4 and 5 in Canadian city Ottawa. It was agreed that B&H Ambassador to Rome in presence of two ministers from RS and FB&H sign the international contract with IFAD, and the arrangement with the London Club about foreign debts of B&H is accepted.

SARAJEVO - The president in Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik assessed in Serbian Sarajevo that during two years since signing the Dayton Agreement was done very much, what surprised the biggest optimists. "If we compare the realisation of Dayton agreement with other peace accords in the world, we shall see that international community didn't reach such a great success neither on Cyprus, Lebanon nor Israel", assessed Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - At the impending elections for new Parliament of RS will be opened in all 1,107 polling stations in RS and 107 in FB&H, on Saturday November 22 from 8,00 AM until 19,00 PM, and on Sunday, November 23 from 8, 00 AM until 16,00 h, stated for SRNA the president of REC Nedjo Draskovic. According to him, 1,147,906 voters was registered, provided that that figure is not still final.

VIENNA - In OSCE centre in Vienna came new 12,000 voter's ballots from the former B&H who from abroad are casting their ballots for new Parliament of RS, confirmed for SRNA the assistant of minister for Foreign Affairs of RS Gordan Milinic. He precisely stated that in this package the greatest number of ballots was delivered from Sweden and that in this centre until now arrived around 26,000 ballots from abroad (in absentia).

SARAJEVO - The Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ required from the Provisional Electoral Commission /PEC/ and Electoral Appealing Commission to review and stop performance of the decision to take of the party list of SDS for National Assembly of RS /NA RS/ second, fourth and sixth name because of appearance of posters of Radovan Karadzic. In the complaint, signed by director of the Head Office of SDS Vlado Vrkes, is stressed that in the region of RS, especially in the western part, appeared these posters of Radovan Karadzic and signature of Serbian National Society, "behind which do not stand SDS".

BELGRADE - The director of the Head Office of SDS for Serbia Mirko Jovic accused the competent officials in Belgrade's office of OSCE and Commissioner for Refugees of Republic of Serbia that "are endangering legitimacy of complete elections in RS". In the statement for SRNA he warned that "SDS couldn't perform the accreditation of its members in the voting boards in the cities of FR Yugoslavia in which will vote eligible refugees on the elections in RS".

BELGRADE - The association of Serbs from B&H, with the seat in Belgrade, is organising the citizens from Serbia and Montenegro to vote in RS. As the general secretary of association Pero DJurdjevic said for SRNA, for citizens who wish to come out on parliamentary elections in RS was organised transportation from Belgrade, Novi Sad and Zrenjanin.

DOBOJ - Republican commission for searching the missing persons stated that in its previous activities in the region of Ozren mountain and Vozuca were found the dead remnants of 25 Serbian soldiers and civilians and announced that in the course of next week it will continue the searching.

BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic stated in Laktasi that the "world stated to invest capital into Srpska because they realised that in it is being implemented democracy". During the work visit to this municipality, Ms. Plavsic visited also the Enterprise for production of furniture "Agroimpex", which for its newest production programme has got from international community 3 millions and 6 hundred thousand German Marks /DEM/.

BRCKO - The OSCE spokesman Edward Josef confirmed that the voting right on the parliamentary elections will have 3,270 citizens of Brcko, who on previous municipal elections couldn't cast their ballots because of rule of Provisional Electoral commission.

PODGORICA - For parliamentary elections in RS , in Montenegro /CG/ in eight electorate would vote 947 voters. The first day of voting, November 22,the polling stations would be opened fro 7h AM until 19,h PM, and second day, November 23, from 7 h AM until 16,0h PM.

PODGORICA - In the office of the Commissioner for refugees and displaced persons of Montenegro /CG/ was held the instruction meeting for presidents of the electoral boards which will supervise the casting ballots in this republic for parliamentary elections in RS, at which will be discussed the issues connected with electoral process.

BIJELJINA - MUP of RS in Bijeljina solemnly marked the St.Patron's day - The congregation of St. archangel Michael. After breaking the saint bread the assembled people addressed the minister of Internal Affairs Slavko Paleksic, reminding that MUP celebrates this years Archangel's day in extraordinary difficult circumstances.

BRCKO - The chief of Police station in Brcko Mico Sikimic at the celebration of the St. Patron's day of MUP of RS St, Archangel Michael in this city expressed the hope that the Serbian police will again be unified.

MOSTAR - FR Yugoslavia FRY and B&H would until the end of this year establish the diplomatic relations - stated in Sarajevo the minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers of B&H Jadranko Prlic. He, as reports the Croatian Radio Herceg- Bosna, stated that the gentlemen's agreement was reached to establish the full diplomatic relations between Belgrade and Sarajevo by simple exchange of diplomats and so avoid previous conditioning.
