NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SRPSKI BROD - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) and the President of the Serbian National Union (SNS) Biljana Plavsic stated, during the SNS municipal board tribune that RS must build the state institutions which will "represent interests of the Serbian people - not only one party".

MRKONJIC GRAD - The Prime Minister of RS Government Gojko Klickovic warned that "Banski Dvor /Banjaluka/ cannot fulfill promises because only the RS Government can grant funds and certain works". At todays pre-election rally of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) in municipality Jezero Klickovic emphasised that the RS Government "invested 80 millions of dollars in the infrastructure and 30 millions in the accommodation of refugees and displaced persons".

SARAJEVO - The cooperation between RS and Russian Federation will start in the civil engineering and after that in others economic activities. The RS Minister for urbanism and civil engineering Ratko Misanovic talked with six- members Russian delegation from Moscow about the technology transfer, and after that they visited enterprises "Buducnost" and "Put". "Our talks will be resumed tomorrow in Zvornik, and there we will visit enterprise "Inzinjering" which operates with the modern IMS building technology" - said Misanovic.

SARAJEVO - The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) will, at the session which starts tomorrow in 10.00 hours in Bijeljina, discuss about bill of the law for enterprises. The Ministers will also discuss about supplementing of the Decision about defining of the enterprises for production of weapons and military equipment as the enterprises which are of the special importance for RS defense.

SARAJEVO - The RS Government Vice-President Velibor Ostojic notified the former US State Prosecutor Remsy Clarc about striving of the one part of International Community to unite RS with Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) "and to alienate her of the Serbian people".

SARAJEVO - The Vice-Presiding of the House of Peoples in the B&H Parliamentary Assembly and the delegate in the Council of Europe Parliament Momir Tosic stated that the Council of Europe had set eight conditions for B&H receiving in this European institution. Tosic in the statement for SRNA explained that the first condition is full cooperation with the UN Tribunal in Hague and the functioning of political institutions at the B&H level.

BRCKO - The commission for election and appointing of the municipal assembly (SO) in Brcko in which is six representatives of the political parties from RS and five from B&H Federation (FB&H) did not succeed to harmonise proposition for distribution of the key functions in municipality. According to the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) member of the commission Mladen Bosic, the reason of this event consists in endless attempts to discredit the role of the assembly which is competent for creating of these decisions.

BRCKO - The commission for returning of refugees in Brcko, which works under OHR auspicies had granted today returning of 149 families into the zone of separation. Right to return received 75 Croatian, 65 Muslim and 9 Serbian families.

BANJALUKA - The spokesman of the OHR in Banjaluka Vladislav Savic announced today that the Serbian Radio Television (SRT) studio which is now based in the Banski Dvor building in Banjaluka will, as soon as possible, move into new premises. He confirmed that all employed in the SRT Banjaluka studio had accepted newest Statute which is created in the OHR and in accordance with western codex of journalists behaving.

PARIS - The parliamentary elections in RS planned for November 22 and 23 are "from the crucial importance for surviving of the Serbian people" - warns the group of the French intellectuals and emphasises that forthcoming elections are "maybe the last chance for Serbian people to freely express his will".

SARAJEVO - Refusing of the Presiding of B&H Presidency Alija Izetbegovic to accept proposition about creating of special relations between FB&H and Croatia can be treated only as his personal attitude or as an opinion of the Muslim side - considers the Croatian member of the B&H presidency Kresimir Zubak.
