NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA - The chief of the Police Station of the CJB /Centre of the public security/ in Banja Luka Stojan Davidovic confirmed that after one day blockade of the Centre his workers are coming back to the ordinary duties. The former members of the Ministry of internal affairs of Republika Srpska /MUP RS/, under the command of suspended policeman Dragan Lukac, who occupied CJB, are leaving the building. The part of SFOR is, also, withdrawn from the surroundings of the Centre objects.

BANJA LUKA - The traffic, which was blocked in the street of Petar the First Karadjordjevic, where is located the building of CJB in Banja Luka, is in use again, but around the buildings there are still 16 tanks and light combat vehicles of SFOR. The object of CJB, which was occupied on August 17 by former members of MUP RS under the command of suspended policeman Dragan Lukac, around 20,00 h visited the SFOR commander sector South-west the British general Agnus Ramsy.

SARAJEVO - The members of SFOR and IPTF at the requirement of the Office of High Representative of international community Carlos Westendorp, entered into the premises of CJB in Banja Luka, occupied by special police forces of RS president Biljana Plavsic. As explained in the announcement of SFOR Office in Pale, the members of IPTF, in the building of CJB, investigate the eventual violating of human rights, and the soldiers of SFOR are securing the object.

BELGRADE - The president of the Democratic Party of Serbia /DSS/ Vojislav Kostunica assessed that everybody who cares for honesty and future of RS should accept the Decision of the Constitutional Court of RS by which is cancelled the Decision of the president Biljana Plavsic on dissolving the National Assembly. "No matter how correct are the motives of the president Plavsic, the decision on dissolving the National Assembly is neither politically nor legally adequate means for fighting against appearance of crime" - it is stressed in the announcement of DSS.

STOCKHOLM - The Moslem authorities in Sarajevo will use the refugees and their discontentment for the offensive to the Serbian regions which they plan to perform next year, when expires the mandate of SFOR, is the opinion of the representatives of the international humanitarian organisations in B&H. As claims the Swedish daily "Dages Niheter", towards Sanski Most, for the Federation B&H strategically very important city, the authorities in Sarajevo are directing the Moslem refugees, who currently live in the countries of Western Europe.
