'We are doing our best politically for this not to be the case, but some aggressive announcements made by the Federation of B&H and, especially, the Muslims are profoundly disturbing us', the president Plavsic pointed out. The RS commander-inchief stressed that the above fact must not be neglected and an adequate reply has to be found. But when the preserving of the RS territorial integrity is at stake, then the presence of the international forces i.e. the stabilisation forces has to be used.SARAJEVO - The president from RS in the Presidency of B&H, Momcilo Krajisnik, congratulated to all the members of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) on May 12, the Day of the VRS, wishing them every success and happiness in their personal life and in a difficult task they are doing in the defence of their homeland. 'In a bloody war for your homeland five years ago you have undertaken a sacred duty to defend your people and, while fighting, you fulfilled all the promises left over by our famous ancestors. Lazarus's curse, which was stated before the Battle on Kossovo, warned and united all the Serbs who stood up as one in the defence of the Serbian soils, frail children and feeble old people. The future that we are creating will show how huge were the sacrifices of yours on the front lines and in the most remote places of RS and how invaluable are for the future Serb generations', says the president Krajisnik's letter of greetings. BANJALUKA - On the occasion of the Day of the VRS, the chief-of-staff of the VRS General Staff, general Pero Colic, arranged a reception for representatives of the Association of the families of the killed Serb soldiers, the RS veterans and pensioners organisations. At the reception which took place in the VRS Central Club, general Colic spoke about the historical importance of the creating of the Serb Army in these areas, pointing out that the VRS was born at a time when 'the Serbian people was attacked and threatened for the third time in this century to experience genocide'. He particularly stressed that 'a strong and well organised VRS is the strongest guarantee for peace and freedom in RS', which will 'along with the constitutional authorities, meet all the requirements stemming from the Dayton agreement'. SRBINJE - The head of the Republic Electoral Commission, Petko Cancar, appealed to all the adult citizens of RS to register themselves on time, no matter whether they are domestic citizens or refugees. 'By the voters registration, successful organisation and the carrying out of the elections RS is being organised and developed', pointed out Cancar. PARIS - The Office of the World Assembly of the Serbs in Paris submitted a request to a group of international law experts for the launching of an investigation against the sataniser of the Serbs, a journalist Anthony Lewis into the crimes committed against the Serb people. The 'International Herald Tribune' published an article of Lewis' which represents the most impudent attack on RS, Mr. Radovan Karadzic and the former chief-of- staff of the VRS, general Ratko Mladic. The article of his exceeds all the troublemaker inscriptions in the history of racial hatred - Hitler, Gebels and Rosenberg's. NEW YORK - American intelligence officials believe that the terroristic Kosovo Liberation Army has the potential to disrupt the Serbian control on Kosovo, writes the 'New York Times'. The Times' journalist, Kris Hegins, interviewed the leader of this terroristic group, who calls himself 'Alban'. The journalist claims that 'Alban' is 'one of the most wanted terrorists in Yugoslavia', while the Albanians on Kosovo consider him as the greatest hero'. 'We are not a terroristic group and we are backed by almost all of the Albanians. The attacks that we are conducting are only the ones on representatives of the Serbian regime and the Albanians who cooperate with them', said 'Alban'. SREBRENICA - The amounts of the humanitarian aid are being drastically reduced to Srebrenica, because some of the humanitarian organisations totally discontinued to deliver it. In April, some 12 tonnes of flour were distributed in Srebrenica, this being insufficient for some 13,000 users of the humanitarian aid. /end/Copyright © Srpska Novinska Agencija - SRNA Republika SrpskaFrom the Serbian Unity Congress Server at http://www.suc.orgSrpska Republica News Agency (SRNA) Directory - Previous Article - Next Article |
