    GRENADA / PEST -- REPORTER MICHAEL LELAND TALKS WITH DALE ELLIS, HEAD OF THE PEST CONTROL UNIT OF GRENADA'S AGRICULTURE MINISTRY, ABOUT EFFORTS TO ERADICATE THE MEALY BUG. THE BUG HAS BEEN DAMAGING CROPS IN GRENADA AND TRINIDAD, AND GRENADA PLANS TO IMPORT CHINESE WASPS TO ATTACK THE BUGS. THE WASPS WERE USED IN THE 1930S TO WIPE OUT A SIMILAR PLAGUE OF MEALY BUGS.
