    ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer expressed on Thursday deep sorrow over plane accidents that occurred in southeastern Diyarbakir and eastern Malatya provinces and offered condolences.

    ANKARA - Chief of General Staff Gen. Hilmi Ozkok said late on Wednesday that Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) had some elements in Northern Iraq and they had some missions there, stating that this force was exaggerated in the press and they felt sad about it.

    [09] INJURED BABY DIES

    DIYARBAKIR - Helin Kiran, the baby who was injured in the plane crash in southeastern Diyarbakir province, died in Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Hospital where she was taken under medical treatment early on Thursday.

    Thus, the death toll rose to 75.
