    ISTANBUL - Police detained Thursday 24 people who started a hunger strike to protest the detention of a group of people who were caught at a police raid at two magazine offices and one association in Istanbul's Fatih district beginning of the week. Sadi Ozpolat who was responsible for the military wing of the illegal organization DHKP/C's was among the group taken into custody during the raids.
