The structural problems with which exports are faced are shown as ''sectoral and regional dependence and inability to provide a stable increase in exports.'' The strategy study which the DTM prepared said that the only product (textiles and ready-to-wear) and dependence on a single market (EU-Germany) are obstacles preventing the increase of stable exports. Among the other elements negatively effecting exports are inflation, ''inability to provide macrobalances, inadequacy of source, inability to produce its own technology, insufficient railway, sea and air transportation, and inability to direct investments.'' According to the study, one of the measures that will be taken for Turkey to get the largest share is to export information products having high added value, directed at the dynamic markets having a high purchasing power and reaching to final consumer. In order to reach the specified targets, by considering the structure of the world trade, there is the requirement to orient towards several new sectors. In addition to the existing markets, in order to achieve new mobilizations in these sectors, there should be improvement in entering new markets namely the Commonwealth of Independent States, Centeral and Eastern European Countries, North and Latin America, Far East and the Middle East countries as well as South African Republic.
