A postdoctoral position is available for an outstanding individual capable of taking a leading role in research on data mining, text mining, social network analysis and information retrieval. This is a joint project between Tufts Medical Center and the Computer Science Department.

The fellow will work directly with the Tufts machine learning group (http://www.cs.tufts.edu/research/ml/ ) headed by Profs. Carla Brodley and Roni Khardon and with researchers in Evidence Based Medicine (Tom Trikalinos) and Biostatistics (Prof. Christopher Schmid) at the Medical School. The initial period for the fellowship is 1.5 to 2 years. A Ph.D. in Computer Science in the area of data mining or machine learning is required.

The start date is negotiable, but applicants who can start in the next few months are preferred. If interested please submit a CV and a list of references to brodley@cs.tufts.edu or ttrikalinos at tuftsmedicalcenter.org .
