A PhD position in Radiation Physics is available in the Dept. of Medical Physics of the University of Ioannina Medical School. The study is computational-theoretical and will involve Monte-Carlo simulation of charged particle transport in biological matter. The position is open to Physical Science and Engineering graduates. An MSc degree (or post-graduate study) is a plus but not required. There is a stipend of 500 Euro per month offered as Teaching Assistantship. To assure full consideration the Application should be submitted no later than May 1st , 2003. The preferred starting date for this position is October 1st, 2003.
