The Dept. of Electronic and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete has a number of openings for professor positions at all levels. The areas of Computer Science and Engineering that are of interest to the department are the following:


* Internet Computing * Electronic Commerce * Human Computer Interaction * Graphics * Virtual Reality * Software Engineering * Operating Systems * Distributed Computing * Mobile Computing * Object Oriented Programming * Programming Languages and Compilers * Artificial Intelligence * Bioinformatics * Large Scale Applications

We are looking for outstanding candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Applicants should fulfill all requirements imposed by Greek law for a position at a Greek University (this includes speaking Greek fluently since teaching is in Greek only).

The department is located in the beautiful city of Chania and has been accepting undergraduate students since 1990. There are also active M.Eng. and Ph.D. programs. Faculty members are participating in a large number of research and development projects funded by the European Commission or the Greek Government.
