ACADEMIC POSITION IN THEORETICAL PHYSICS

The Department of Physics invites applications for one tenure-track academic position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Theoretical Physics in the fields of Biophysics, Condensed Matter Physics, High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics. The Department has an established research activity in the areas of High Tc superconductivity, Superfluidity of Helium, Microscopic many-body physics of strongly interacting electrons, Lattice gauge theories, Hadronic Physics, Structure, dynamics and statistical mechanics of biomolecules.

Interested individuals must submit, during the period from 1 October to 28 December 2001, the following items: six copies of curriculum vitae (including list of publications and copies of representative publications), six copies of a summary of research and future research plans (no more than three pages). The applicant must also have three letters of recommendation sent directly to the University. The names and addresses of these referees must be submitted with the application, which must be sent to:
