Research Scientist, Grade C, one-position, tenure-track. IBRI is a newly-established Research Institute closely linked to the University of Ioannina. It is funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, Ministry of Development (Presidential Decree 20/1998). The Institute has no departmental structure, rather it relies on thematic programmes in molecular medicince, biomedical technology and molecular epidimiology, based on the research interests of its senior investigators and their ability to attract funding from national and international agencies. The current fields of interest include intracellular trafficking, angiogenesis, intelligent devices, and biomechanics, in collaboration with faculty members of the University of Ioannina. We are looking for research scientists with proven high research potential and a track record in external funding. Annual remuneration (before taxes, retirement and health insurance) is 25.400 to 42.000 Euros, depending on grade and previous employment. It can be supplemented from research funds.
