Post-Doctoral Fellows and Engineers in Optoelectronics and Fiber-Optics

A high technology Optoelectronic Company Optipulse is seeking candidates to fill five positions in its optoelectronic and fiber-optic R&D and production laboratories. As specialists in one or more of the fields listed below, candidates will demonstrate dynamism and creativity in carrying out the duties of these positions, which include the following:

Design and development of fiber optic components for telecommunication. Fiber Bragg grating base devices for telecommunications and sensors. Participate in European Projects with academic institutions. Launch and carry out leading-edge research projects Author and prepare projects for external competitive funding

Areas of specialization

Fiber Optics Applied Optics and imaging Electronics, Optoelectronics and Microelecronics Sensor devices

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the above areas. Candidates with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Applied Physics will also be considered for lower positions in the company. Good knowledge of English language is essential, while pertinent industry experience would be an asset.

Starting Date

October 1, 2000. The application review process will begin as soon as possible and will continue until positions have been filled. The positions are open to all nationalities.

Remuneration

Salary range and benefits (housing, travel, etc.) are determined depending on qualifications, experience, dynamism, and also according to the international high-technology job market.
