POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP AT DEPT OF NAVAL ARCH. & MARINE ENG, NTUA

Applications are invited for a 3 year, and up to one year renewable, Postdoctoral Fellowship in Wave propogation in a shallow sea environment at the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. The position for successful candidates applying for the fellowship will be funded by The Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology (GSRT) from EPET II (European Union Fund) from Subprogram 4, under the conditions that the corresponding proposal is accepted.

The applicant is expected to have completed a Ph.D. degree in either ocean engineering, fluid mechanics, applied mathematics or scientific computing with emphasis in fluid mechanics not prior than 8 years and not as recent as 2 years of this announcement, with strong research potential and a proven publication record related to scientific journals.

The salary will be up to 6 million drachmas per year.
