14th Hermes Expo Coming April 16th & 17th 2005!

Atlantic City, NJ- On Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17, 2005 the Trump Marina Resort & Hotel will be bursting with activity when thousands of spectators converge at the Grand Cayman Ballroom, from 12:00 noon to 6 p.m, with an anticipation of interacting with one hundred and twenty (120) exhibitors at this year's Hermes Expo International. These exhibitors will represent a broad spectrum of industries: from Government and Municipal organizations to representatives of the Foodservice industry; from Finance and Banking enterprises to entities that represent the Arts and Culture; from Telecommunications and Technology to representatives of the Travel and Tourism industry.

Sponsored by the U.S.-Greece Business Advisory Council and supported by Philadelphia's World Trade Center, the Department of Commerce of the City of Philadelphia, the CVM Companies, Akropolis Marbles and Granites, Belford Farms, Coronis Building Systems, American Express Financial Services, CAM2 and TGS National Wholesalers, Pan Gregorian Enterprises, Inc., Hermes Expo International strives to serve businesses from around the world. "You can count on me to be a regular participant of the Hermes Expo, " says Manolis Sakkaris, an exporter from Laconia, Greece. "To be able to promote our products to American and Canadian consumers and distributors alike, is indeed heartening."

Hermes Expo International, was founded 14 years ago, and has developed into a unique networking and business trade show and exhibition, specifically tailored to businesses that seek to reach the Greek American market " an ethnic market that amounts to an estimated 2.5 million people in the Americas. Since 1992, Hermes Expo International has successfully been building trade relations between North American and European businesses. The exhibition, held over the years in New York, Chicago and Atlantic City, attracts business people and entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries, all with the common goal: To expand their business reach into the highly desirable Greek and Greek American markets. Hermes Expo International is the largest event in the Greek American business world and as such, attracts the attention and interest of Governmental agencies the likes of Municipalities and Prefectures in Greece, City and State authorities here and trade offices across the USA. An annual Symposium has been established within the framework of Hermes Expo International. This year, the Symposium topic is: "Economic Diplomacy between USA and Greece: Prospects in the meta-Olympic era." Guest speakers will commence presentations and discussions during the two-day period within which the Expo is held at the Trump Marina Resort & Hotel. A parallel trade and networking Luncheon event will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, and a Dinner Awards Presentation will be held on Saturday night at the Ballroom 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight, during which business people will have the opportunity to interact with each other in a more informal setting. There will also take place a Fashion Show presented at the Hermes Expo by the FUR Center from Greece. Hon. Steve Corodemus from the State Assembly in NJ says, "Businesses in the Greater East Coast area have an opportunity to see how diverse the Greek American businesses are. There is something for everyone here. I encourage the organizers to continue with this event that promotes trade between Greece-USA."

Tony Pandazopoulos, Vice President for Balford Farms of Philadelphia and a supporter and exhibitor since the inception of Hermes Expo Int'l says, "Once again, this event, gets significantly better each year.
