"Greece: The Modern Sequel"

Dr. Thanos Veremis, Karamanlis Professor of Hellenic and Southeasthern European Studies, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University

Dr. Veremis will present the thesis of his forthcoming book which identifies constant factors underlying the workings of present-day Greece and which challenges established notions and stereotypes (often promoted by nationalism and caricatures created by complacent onlookers) that disfigure perceptions of the country.
