SILICON TEARS, the newest film from the popular comedy duo of Michalis Reppas and Thanassis Papathanassiou (creators of 1999s SAFE SEX), will screen TWICE as part of the monthly GREEK CINEMA SHOWCASE:

This Friday, March 1 - 8 pm and Saturday, March 2 - 9 pm

Silicon Tears is parody of the Greek comedies of the 1950s and the harrowing Greek melodramas of the 1960s. A young woman (Maria Kavoyianni) is betrayed by her lover (a macho Mihalis Reppas), when he runs off with a flamboyant shipowner Tzella (Mirka Papaconstantinou). The girl's family gives chase and the fun begins !
