On Saturday, October 4, 1997 all the above internationally acclaimed artists from Greece will join forces for the fundraising "Concert Of Hope' The concert will take place at the Madison Square Garden Arena with a capacity of 20,000 spectators. This will be the largest and the greatest Greek Music Concert in North American History.

George Dalaras, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Alkinos loannides, Lakis Lazopoulos & Vasilis Papaconstantinou have had sold-out music concerts worldwide in cities such as New York, Chicago, Montreal and Toronto, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Sydney, etc.

Fifteen years ago, Mr. Stanley Matthews established the Greek Children's Fund whose programs have assisted over 5,000 families. These programs have been treating Greek Children cancer patients of all ages with housing financial assistance, and psychological support.

We call upon all of you around the world to support us by calling and keep calling your local television stations (This concert will not be televised in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington D.C area) requesting them to carry our live television satellite signal feed so you and your friends and family can see and enjoy this "once in a lifetime" spectacular music event of the century. Think about it this could be the Greek Woodstock concert just at the end of the millenium to help our children to survive cancer. Please give us the TV stations phone numbers so we could call them also and make them carry the satellite feed so the whole hellenismos would participate.
