Stratford, OT, August'97: Oedipus the King production

The late Tyrone Guthrie's production of "Oedipus the King" will be
performed at the Canada's Stratford Theater Festival, Stratford, Ontario
(about 2 hrs from Toronto). It opens in August. The original production
starred James Mason and is known for its use of monumental masking --
I've seen it on video tape and it's a real stunner, considered by many
to be the best "Oedipus the King" ever produced onstage in contemporary
times.
