If you're a European, then this debate is for you!

'Economic and social cohesion' is a vision of Europe where there is equality between regions and social groups, and where the gap between rich and poor gets smaller and smaller.

During March and April 1997, the European Union will sponsor a large debate on its regional and cohesion policies. This on-line debate is being organised by the European Commission on its website, in the run-up to the European Cohesion Forum to be held in Brussels at the end of April.

As of March 1, you are able to send your comments, opinions and questions in English or another Community language, to the following internet address:

http://europa.eu.int/en/comm/dg16/forum/home.htm
