GHIKA: DRAWINGS, by Evita Arapoglu Drawings and studies on subjects from Greek history and mythology, everyday scenes and vivid sketches from journeys to distant lands, are offered to the reader-viewer of this album. Familiar objects, beloved faces, dream-like compositions in familiar or fanciful settings are only a few of the aspects presented in these pages, in which are displayed 300 selected works; works which, through their clarity of design and attention to detail, reveal the vibrant sensitivity of their creator.

Bilingual: In Greek and in English

322 pages, 303 color photographs, 9.4x11.4 inches, Cloth, $ 82.00

MYTARAS: DRAWINGS, by Adam A drawing reveals, as nothing else does, the capabilities and skill of the artist, since it is the art which least flatters the eye. A drawing, besides, is a soul-revealing work, disclosing that which dwells in the depths of the artist's being, be it a woman, a passionate love, a child, the lust for power, the quest for the unknown, the unforeseen, the eternally beautiful. Dimitris Mytaras, heir to the tradition of ancient Greek drawing, illustrates, through his fluid line, the unceasing flow of time.

Bilingual: In Greek and in English

192 pages, 212 color photographs, 9.4x11.4 inches, Cloth, $ 70.00

PSYCHOPEDIS, by Adam Painting, for Yiannis Psychopedis, is not just a self-sufficient quantity. It is rather an instrument of critical comment and a means of expressive, as well as ideological, confrontation, a reaction against the enroachment of indolent quiescence and alienation, which are always lying in wait, ready to undermine our personal resistance. Thus the effective pictorial dialogue he initiates between the functioning work of art and the viewer, is familiar and instructive. His painting speak of the things we know, with an elegiac grace, lightning up their unseen side. It is this which lends his art its attraction and its magic charm.

Bilingual: In Greek and in English

228 pages, 198 photographs, 10.2x10.2 inches, Cloth, $ 69.00

TAKIS KATSOULIDES, by Adam Following the orderly series of the numerous works of the artist, who can boast of a career of 35 years, the viewer-reader can accompany Takis Katsoulides in his artistic course, from the time of his first one-man show in 1960 to today. The basic texts concerning both the paintings and the engravings of Katsoulides are signed by Chrysanthos Christou, Member of the Academy of Athens and professor of the History of Modern Art, by Manos Stefanides, Curator of the National Gallery, and others.

228 pages, 156 color photographs, 10.2x10.2 inches, Cloth, $ 69.00

TSOCLIS, by Adam This is indeed a book whose 165 full-color pages manage to capture so much that is of high quality that the work constitutes a veritable publishing achievement. It addresses itself not only to the eye but also to the touch, while its general appearance appeals to all the senses and transports the reader to the world of genuine works of art.
