Based on the shocking figures presented by Mrs. Anna Diamantopoulou, over 1.5 million cancer cases are being reported every year in the EU, while one in three people is likely to experience cancer either directly or indirectly within the family.

In Greece, more than 350.000 cancer cases are being reported every year and most of them are lung and chest cancer cases.
