He mentions that Greece should get the highest grade in terms of security, stressing that it spent about US$ 1.5 billio n in security and both athletes and spectators are protected in a discreet manner. Regarding the Greek hospitality, the USA Today correspondent writes that Greece deserves to be praised, stressing that one will have to look very hard to find anti-American sentiments. The two major US newspapers The Washington Times and The Washington Post focus on the athletes who were distinguished in the games so far and on the Greek pride for hosting successful games.
